Research is a vital component of graduate training in the Division. The research programs of faculty associated with the DNS are well supported by grants from Federal and State agencies, commodity groups and industrial organizations. The Division of Nutritional Sciences involves over 60 University of Illinois faculty with diverse research backgrounds who are united by their interest in nutrition. Extensive research opportunities are available that span the spectrum of nutritional sciences, and our students work side-by-side with extremely talented faculty.
