In May 2000, the Division of Nutritional Sciences launched its endowment initiative to provide a continuous source of funding to enhance the professional development of our graduate students. Our goal is to create a minimum $1.5 M endowment and to establish a minimum of 5 endowed graduate fellowships.
How to Make a Contribution
There are three ways to make a donation to any of the Nutritional Sciences Funds: by check, by on-line credit card donation or by payroll deduction if you are a current faculty member, staff or student.
Donating by Check
You can send your contribution to the Division of Nutritional Sciences Office (449 Bevier Hall, 905 S. Goodwin Avenue, University of Illinois, Urbana, IL 61801). Please make your check payable to the "University of Illinois Foundation", but indicate which of the Nutritional Sciences Funds you would like to contribute to in your subject line.
You also can make a donation on-line through the University of Illinois Foundation. Click on the link to the left. Once at that site,
Click on 'Ways to Give' in the left column and choose 'Give Online'.
Then, click on the link 'our online giving system'. A new page will come up.
At the bottom of the page, under "I would like my donation allocated to the following specific fund(s)", type in your contribution amount followed by "Division of Nutritional Sciences", and the name of the Fund you would like to contribute to
Then click the "Continue" button...
You will be redirected to the University of Illinois Foundation's secure on-line giving site where you will complete your personal and credit card information.
If you are a current faculty member, staff or student at the University of Illinois, you can arrange your donation through a monthly payroll deduction. Forms for this purpose are available in the Division office.
Please contact Matt Smith (Assistant Director of Development) with any questions or to discuss options for making an impact with a major gift.
Thank you for your generous support of our program!
